
Hyderabad, Aug.28 (RAHNUMA): The ninth edition of Sport Expo India 2026, a two-day exhibition showcasing the latest in sports, fitness, nutrition and wellness, opened at the HITEX Exhibition Centre here on Friday.
Organised by HITEX, the expo brings together more than 50 exhibitors, athletes, sporting brands, distributors, fitness communities, wellness professionals and consumers under one roof.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Kuna Shankar, director of HITEX, along with Krishna Kumar Thakur, director (personnel), NMDC, and Rajesh Vetcha, Race director, Hyderabad Runners.
The expo features live sports competitions, tournaments, demonstrations, product showcases and interactive experiences covering sports, fitness, nutrition and wellness.
Kuna Shankar said Sport Expo was created as a dedicated platform connecting athletes, professionals, brands, institutions and sports enthusiasts. He said the expo, serving as a curtain-raiser to the Hyderabad Marathon, is expected to attract more than 25,000 visitors.
The event also provides opportunities for sporting brands to directly engage with consumers while enabling athletes, coaches and fitness enthusiasts to explore new products and innovations.
