AADI DHVANI FOUNDATION SEEKS ADIVASI ART MUSEUM

Hyderabad, Nov.25 (RAHNUMA): A delegation from the Aadi Dhvani Foundation on Tuesday met Dr. G. Chinna Reddy, Vice Chairman of the State Planning Board and CM Praja Vani Incharge, urging for the establishment of a museum to preserve over 5,000 rare Adivasi folk art pieces.

The foundation, which has been collecting musical instruments, metal crafts, cultural and literary artifacts from 18 tribal communities for two years, proposed for setting up the museum at the MPCC (G+1) building in Madhapur, Kavuri Hills.

Dr. Chinna Reddy assured the team that he would take the proposal to the notice of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Eminent journalists K. Ramachandra Murthy, K. Srinivas, professors Jayadheer Tirumala Rao, Kodandaram, Manoja, Ganta Jalandhar Reddy, and sculptor M.V. Ramana Reddy were present in the meeting.
