AI-driven opportunities to Tier-II cities across Telangana

California, Aug.10 (NSS): Telangana’s pursuit of becoming a global AI hub has gained significant momentum through the strategic efforts of Tconsult. During Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to the United States, Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Chief of Tconsult and WTITC, presented investment consent letters from 30 international AI-based companies. The handover, which took place in the presence of IT and Industries Minister Duddila Sridhar Babu, represents a major leap in bringing AI-driven opportunities to Tier-II cities across Telangana, including Warangal, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Karimnagar, and others.

These investments are projected to generate 4,000 jobs in Tier-II cities, with several companies ready to initiate operations as early as September. This swift deployment of AI technologies not only promises immediate employment but also establishes a strong foundation for future technological advancements within the State.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy praised the Tconsult initiative, remarking, “The investments by these AI companies through Tconsult emphasize Telangana’s strategic importance in the global AI landscape. Our focus on Tier-II cities ensures that technological growth benefits every corner of our state.”

Sundeep Kumar Makthala added, “The infusion of AI investments into Tier-II cities is a critical step towards decentralizing economic growth in Telangana. By directing investments outside of the traditional urban hubs, we are not only creating jobs and fostering local talent but also driving inclusive development across the state. This approach reduces the pressure on metropolitan areas, balances regional growth, and elevates the overall standard of living in smaller cities and towns.”

Minister Duddila Sridhar Babu commended Makthala’s efforts, underscoring the potential for AI-driven economic transformation in the state. “The commitment of these companies, facilitated by Tconsult, highlights Telangana’s readiness to lead in the AI sector,” he noted.
