Amaravati, Dec.11 (NSS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu today alleged that the drug, ganja and rice mafia had increased in the state during the tenure of the previous government. Collectors have been instructed to take strict action against the rice mafia and those selling ganja in any district from now on by the CM . Chandrababu said that no member of mafia would be spared. “We are trying hard to put the state back on track, which was derailed during the previous regime,” he said. Naidu said that every officer should work seriously for cracking their whip on the mafia .
CM Chandrababu held a two-day collectors’ conference. Amaravati, Polavaram project constructions and Vision 2047 were explained to the collectors during the conference . Chandrababu naidu, who focused on investments within just 6 months after coming to power, said that During the recent visit of the state IT Minister to the US, Google had offered to invest in Visakhapatnam. He said that this would increase the job opportunities in Visakhapatnam.
“There is no difference between a millionaire and a common man. Everyone voted equally. Everyone had given a vote. That vote is what is saving this country today. We have seen some countries as well. Where dictatorships come in a democracy, dictators also emerge. Revolutions are coming to send those dictators out . That’s what happened in Syria. The same thing happened in Bangladesh earlier. Such situations come when there is an outburst and people have reactions. But in India, elections are being held repeatedly. People’s consciousness is the salvation of this democracy,” he said .
Naidu said that Many mistakes were made during the previous regime in a way that could jeopardise the future of the state. “I also have anguish, pain, bitterness, anger. But, at the same time, if not done carefully, there will be a situation where it becomes more demoralized. So, I’m not compromising anywhere. All of you have to be careful. You also need to increase your efficiency. The wrongdoers should be punished under the law under any circumstances. The onus is on this authority to ensure that mistakes are not made. We once again request all of you to make a note of that,” Chandrababu said.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan alleged that the previous government’s rule had troubled everyone. He asked the collectors as to what they were doing when so many mistakes were taking place in the state.? Pawan Kalyan said that collectors has a key responsibility in leading the state towards development. “The previous government had troubled all of us a lot. The sale of movie tickets with the help of higher officials and the revenue machinery has led to the exploitation of sand. There are so many IAS officers. Why aren’t they talking despite having so many people? We are very upset,” said Pawan Kalyan.
