Hyderabad, Aug 19 ( NSS) : All of us must strive unitedly to bring positive change in the lives of people of Telangana, said Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.
Officers, staff of SPDCL who secured promotions met the Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka at the Secretariat on Monday and thanked him.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatti said that change in people’s lives meant improvement in their living standards, increase in their purchasing power and enabling them get share in State’s wealth.
Only when such transformation was brought in people’s lives, the struggle for achieving separate State would have meaning and purpose, he emphasised.
Otherwise we would remain as those who could not do justice to people, he cautioned.
“Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Cabinet Ministers have decided to give promotions to electricity department employees who had been waiting for the last seven and a half years. All the officers and staff should work with dedication and with a sense of belonging to the State, government and consider people of Telangana as their own family, the Deputy Chief Minister exhorted.
He further said that even though the State was facing financial difficulties, the Congress government had decided to sanction promotions to provide good working environment.
“The officers and staff should work with commitment to translate the government programmes, policies and thoughts to the grassroots root level. It will stand by the employees in all circumstances and employees should extend the same attitude towards people.There should be a humanitarian angle in every work,” Bhatti advised.
