Hyderabad, Aug.15 (NSS): Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Thursday hoisted the National Flag on the premises of the Assembly on the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day.
Before hoisting the National Flag, the Speaker paid tributes to the statues of Dr. B R Ambedkar and Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhendar Reddy, Legislative Secretary Dr. V Narasimha Charyulu, Chief Marshal Karnakar, other officials and staff were present.
