Hyderabad, Sept.30 (NSS): Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar today began his ‘Bhavani Deeksha’ at Mahashakti Amma temple in Karimnagar on the occasion of Sri Devi Navratri celebrations.
He was accompanied by hundreds of BJP workers and leaders. Bandi Sanjay will stay away from politics completely from Monday till Vijayadashami festival. This is the 14th time that Bandi Sanjay observing Bhavani deeksha. In 2011, on the occasion of the prestigious Mahotsava of the Mahashakti Ammavari temple, Bandi Sanjay undertook the ‘Bhavani Deeksha’ for the first time. All the arrangements have been made at the Mahashakthi temple in Karimnagar for the devotees.
During the Navratri festivities, the premises of Sri Mahashakti Temple reverberate with the remembrance of the name of the Goddess. Thousands of devotees visit the temple every day. Apart from the combined Karimnagar district, a large number of people from across the State and from other States are flocking to the Sri Mahasakthi Temple.
