
Karimnagar, July 14 (NSS): Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said he had become the Union minister after starting his political career as a municipal corporator. “As long as I am alive, I will work with one party and one ideology. I will work for the protection of dharma and the uplift of the poor,” he said.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who arrived at Kapuwada in Karimnagar for the first time after taking over as Union minister, was accorded a grand welcome by his Munnurukapu community people. On the occasion, he said he would bring funds for Karimnagar smart city project and take the State government’s help in developing Karimnagar district. He made it clear that as a Union Minister, he would develop Karimnagar in all possible ways.
Bandi Sanjay said, “I consider the post of Union Home Minister as a responsibility. I will fight for dharma and for the people at any cost.” Sanjay said he was not afraid of 109 criminal cases filed against him. He said “although the police made him criminal by filing criminal cases against me, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have made me the Minister of State for Home Affairs,” he added.
He recalled that for 150 days, he had walked 1600 km in the heat, cold and rain for 150 days against KCR rule. He also said as a Union minister, he has the opportunity to bring in more funds for the next five years to Karimnagar. (NSS)
