Hyderabad, Dec.12 (RAHNUMA): The BioAgri Input Producers Association (BIPA) has announced the winners of India’s inaugural “BioAgri Startup Challenge”, held at the BioAgri 2025 conference here at Ramoji Film City. The competition, aimed at showcasing innovative startups in the agricultural biology space, saw Arthro Biotech, Pinnacle BioSciences, and Silverphage Technologies emerge as the top three winners, with V-Humate receiving a consolation prize.
The challenge, which attracted 20 startups from across India, offered them a unique platform to pitch their solutions to investors and industry leaders, despite the absence of prize money. Arthro Biotech took the top spot for its eco-friendly animal feed and soil conditioners, while Pinnacle BioSciences secured second place with its algae-based agricultural solutions. Silverphage Technologies claimed third for its cutting-edge biological innovations.
Organized in collaboration with key biotech and deep-tech incubators, the competition highlighted the growing importance of sustainability and innovation in India’s BioAgri sector. With over 200 stakeholders in attendance, the event marked a pivotal moment in advancing the nation’s agricultural technology ecosystem.
D.R. Venkatesh, Secretary General of BIPA, emphasized that the initiative aims to foster deep-tech innovation and provide startups with critical business connections for scaling their bio-based technologies. (
