Hyderabad, Oct.22 (NSS): The BRS party leaders today expressed their displeasure over CM Revanth Reddy’s threats to crush their party leaders KTR and Harish Rao with bulldozers. A complaint has been lodged against Revanth Reddy at Banjara Hills police station in Hyderabad by the party leaders.
In their complaint, the party leaders said Revanth Reddy’s threats had raised concerns about the safety of their leaders– KTR and Harish Rao. They urged the police to book CM Revanth Reddy for inciting violence and added that action should be taken as per law.
Former chairman of the SC/ST Commission Dr Errolla Srinivas spoke to the media after filing the complaint against the CM. He alleged that Revanth Reddy was behaving like a gang leader and not as Chief Minister. “The CM is hatching a conspiracy to create unrest with intolerance and not focusing on the administration,” he said. He said the language used by Revanth Reddy was disturbing the law and order situation in Telangana. He demanded that a criminal case be registered against Revanth Reddy immediately.
Errolla Srinivas alleged that the police were registering cases against their party’s social media activists even if they posted a small post. He alleged that the filthy language of the CM was inciting violence among the Congress workers at the grassroots level. “Our party leaders are being attacked because of the CM’s cheap language. The attacks on Harish Rao in Khammam, KTR in Musheerabad and Kaushik Reddy in Kondapur by Congress workers are the result of the provocative statements made by CM Revanth,” he claimed. He warned that if Revanth did not change his attitude, he would be held responsible for the consequences.
