Hyderabad, Sept.19 (NSS): BJP Mahila Morcha has turned angry over Congress MLA Danam Nagender’s comments on its party MP and actress Kangana Ranaut. It staged a sit-in at Gandhi Bhavan metro station demanding an apology from Danam for his comments on Kangana. BJP State Mahila Morcha president Shilpa Reddy led the protest. The women leaders of the BJP Mahila Morcha burnt an effigy of Danam Nagender. The women leaders were angry that the comments made by Danam were degrading the women.
Speaking on the occasion, Shilpa Reddy strongly condemned the comments made by Danam Nagender on Kangana Ranaut. She said there was nothing to be said about degrading the women and added that cheap comments were not appropriate for Danam as a responsible MLA. “Danam Nagender should apologize,” she demanded. Danam had said Kangana Ranaut didn’t have the level to criticise their party leader Rahul Gandhi.
