Hyderabad, March 26 (NSS): TPCC senior vice-president G. Niranjan today said the BJP is misusing the agencies at the Centre and trying to trouble the leaders of the Opposition parties; in the same way the previous BRS government misused the Special Intelligence Branch illegally is making people stunned.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Niranjan said the Telangana police was earlier praised as competent and efficient, but this episode made the department embarrassing. It is unfortunate that cyber crimes are committed by the police, who are supposed to catch cyber criminals, he bemoaned. Stating that generally criminals destroy the evidence, he said the demolition of hard disks by Special Intelligence Branch officers and dumping them in forest areas is the culmination of illegal activity by police officers. Now it seems there is no difference between police and criminals.
