BLS E-SERVICES TO EXPAND BANKING TOUCHPOINTS TO 4,000 ACROSS TELANGANA

Hyderabad, Jan.19 (RAHNUMA): BLS E-Services has announced a major expansion of its Business Correspondent (BC) network in Telangana, aiming to scale up from the existing 400 touchpoints to 3,000 – 4,000 centres over the next few years. The expansion is expected to significantly improve access to banking services in rural and semi-urban areas, strengthening financial inclusion across the state.

BLS E-Services chief operating officer Lokanath Panda said Telangana is a key focus market due to rising demand for assisted and doorstep banking services. He added that the company’s BC model helps bridge banking access gaps in underserved regions.

The BC network currently operates in various districts, including Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal–Malkajgiri, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, and Karimnagar, offering services such as cash transactions, account services, and access to government benefits.

BLS E-Services is working with partner banks including SBI and HDFC Bank, and is expanding collaborations with Karur Vysya Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, and Bank of Maharashtra to support the planned growth.

BLS E-Services reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening India’s last-mile banking infrastructure by delivering inclusive, accessible, and technology-driven financial services across diverse geographies.
