Hyderabad, Oct.14 (NSS): A book on the biography of former MP and Congres senior leader V Hanumantha Rao will be released in New Delhi on October 26.
Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar will be present as the chief guest for the programme and will launch the book.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, V Hanumantha Rao said he had invited many Congress leaders and friends for the book launch programme.
VH said he has written the book with the intention of imparting to this generation from his experiences as a student, youth Congress and PCC president and the name of the book “Hanumantudu Allariwade” has been finalised.
On the occasion, he emphasized the need for caste census implementation as promised by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, following Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s directive.
The Congress leader criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that despite being from a Backward Class (BC), Modi has neglected BC communities over the past 10 years.
He highlighted that conducting a caste census would likely result in a stronger majority in panchayat elections.
VH expressed his desire for Telangana to be a leader in implementing caste census and mentioned plans to push for the same in Karnataka.
Hanumantha Rao reaffirmed his lifelong commitment to the Congress party and invited all party supporters to his upcoming book launch, believing that future generations will draw inspiration from it.
