Hyderabad, April 7 (RAHNUMA): Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, along with Registrar Dr. LVK Reddy, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Telangana State, Shiv Pratap Shukla.
Prof. Chakrapani briefed to the Governor on the “Social Empowerment Week” being organized by the university to commemorate the birth anniversaries of eminent personalities. He also explained about free education Schemes being offered by the University to Adivasi and transgender students.
Further, they invited to the Governor to participate in the Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Birthday celebrations on April 14 at the campus, and requesting him to attend as the Chief Guest for the distribution ceremony of incentive fellowships being provided to Adivasi students under the aegis of the Jyothi Reddy Foundation.
