BRS disrupting Hyderabad’s peace: Jagga Reddy

Hyderabad, Sept.14 (NSS): Congress senior leader Jagga Reddy has made strong remarks, stating that if anyone insults Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Congress workers won’t hesitate to cut their tongues.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Jagga Reddy along with Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar accused BRS leaders of disturbing the peace in Hyderabad and attempting to provoke unrest.

“Anyone who insults Revanth Reddy will not be tolerated. If BRS leaders, including former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao or his son KT Rama Rao, make inappropriate comments about our leader, we will take extreme action,” he cautioned.

Alleging that the BRS leaders have already corrupted the peaceful atmosphere of Hyderabad, former MLA Jagga Reddy pointed out that the issues surrounding rival MLAs Arekapudi Gandhi and Kaushik Reddy are internal matters of the BRS party,

Accusing the BRS of interfering with the Ganesh immersion celebrations, he said that the State government was taking all necessary precautions to ensure the smooth conduct of the immersion.

Jagga Reddy also pointed out that between 2014 and 2018, when BRS inducted 4 Congress MPs, 25 MLAs, and 18 MLCs, why didn’t the BRS leaders raise any objections? Was it not KCR who offered ministerial posts to defected leaders? Is KCR not the mastermind behind this culture of defections and political manipulation, he questioned.

“Ever since KCR became the chief minister for Telangana, political ethics have been eroded. Under the influence of the BJP, KCR has been stabbing the Congress in the back,” Jagga Reddy alleged.
