Hyderabad, Aug.16 (NSS): Stating that the merger of the BRS party with the BJP is a blatant lie, BJP MP Etela Rajender today said there was no such discussion in the BJP. He doubted if the BRS party leaders were talking about the merger of their party with the BJP. He criticised that the Telangana government’s crop loan waiver scheme was nothing but a drama. “This government has not done a full-fledged loan waiver. The CM has cheated the people and the farmers,” he alleged.
Commenting on the ongoing demolition of illegal structures in the State capital, he called them as illegal and asked the State government as to who gave them the power to demolish the houses under the name of Hydra project. He made it clear that the lands covered under FTL were not government lands and added that they belonged to the farmers. Why was permission given for construction at that time? Permissions should not be given for any more constructions. Merging areas within the ORR shouldn’t be something like scratching heads. We have to study everything and take a decision,” Rajender said.
He said he has no information about the change of the State party president and added that the party high command would take care of it. He mocked that CM Revanth Reddy was speaking like former minister KTR had spoken in the past on the issue of investments for the State.
