Hyderabad, June 12 (INN): BRS MLA Ch Malla Reddy received a significant blow as revenue officials concluded that 33 guntas of land in survey number 82 under Suchitra do not belong to him. This finding was submitted to the Medchal court and a survey report was also sent to the Cyberabad Police. For a decade, Malla Reddy had claimed ownership of this land.
The controversy erupted when 15 individuals objected to the land claim in survey number 82. On May 18, a dispute arose over 2.10 acres of land, valued at hundreds of crores, in the Suchitra area of Hyderabad. Malla Reddy, along with his son-in-law Rajasekhar Reddy and his followers, removed the fencing at the disputed site, leading to a confrontation with another group already present.
The police intervened, arresting Malla Reddy, Rajasekhar Reddy, and their supporters. Cases were registered against them. The revenue department then launched an investigation, revealing that the disputed 33 guntas of land did not belong to Malla Reddy. The opposing group expressed satisfaction with the outcome and called for action against Malla Reddy. (INN)
