BRS rebel MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy returns home

Hyderabad, July 30 (NSS): In Telangana, the ruling Congress party suffered a shock. The Opposition BRS party MLA, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, who had recently joined the ruling party has returned to the party again.

In the 2023 Assembly elections, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy contested from Gadwal assembly constituency and won from the BRS party. However, 20 days ago, he quit the BRS party and joined the ruling party. He joined the Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and State Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and others. But it didn’t even last a month.

The MLA rejoined the BRS party on Tuesday. He met with the BRS party working president KT Rama Rao and has made it clear that he would continue in the party. So far, 10 MLAs have left the BRS party and joined the Congress party. The ruling party has been saying that some more BRS party MLAs will join the party. The decision of Krishna Mohan Reddy  has brought a new enthusiasm in the BRS party cadres. Former ministers Gangula Kamalakar, Jagadish Reddy, Padma Rao Goud, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others were present when the Gadwal MLA met KTR. In the last assembly elections, Krishna Mohan Reddy had won by a margin of over 7,000 votes over the nearest Congress party candidate Sarita Thirupathaiah.
