CM Naidu visits Durga temple

Vijayawada, Oct.9 (NSS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with his family members visited Kanakadurgamma temple on Indrakeeladri on Wednesday. His wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, son Lokesh, Brahmani and grandson Devansh also visited the temple along with him  . Chandrababu’s head was wrapped around by sthanacharya Sivaprasad Sharma’s with a cloth on the occasion. The CM carried the silk clothes and sumangala materials on his head. On behalf of the state government, the CM presented silk clothes to Durgamma. Earlier in the day, the CM  was welcomed at the temple by the temple authorities and arrangements were made for his darshan. Chandrababu paid obeisance with his family members at the antaralayam. On this occasion, the Commissioner and EO of the endowments Department explained the details of the donor cell to the CM.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has greeted all the devotees of Durgamma on Dussehra. Speaking on the occasion, he said. “I am fortunate to visit Durgamma on Moola Nakshatram day. Lakhs of the devotees are visiting Durgamma with great faith. Though we want Durgamma to bless them with good deeds, we are providing a variety of services through the Seva Committee. Congratulations to the members of the Durgagudi Governing Council. Arrangements have been made for the devotees in the queues to avoid  any difficulty,” he said

Naidu said that VIP devotees also cooperated on Indrakeeladri and added that The devotees said that the facilities in the vicinity of Durga gudi were  good. “Due to the grace of Durgamma, there were plenty of rains in the state. The interlinking of rivers in the state should be completed with the grace of Mother. Durgamma’s blessings should be on all the people of the state. Free darshan has been provided to all the devotees coming today. Our decisions are in line with the sentiments of the devotees. We will work hard to ensure that every temple gets back to its former glory,” he said.
