CM orders full medical support for Hayathnagar dog attack victim

Hyderabad, Dec.3 (RAHNUMA): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep concern over the incident in Hayathnagar where a mute child, Prem Chand, was severely injured in an attack by stray dogs on Tuesday.

Upon learning about the incident, the Chief Minister immediately responded, sought detailed information, and directed officials to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the child without any financial constraints.

Revanth Reddy spoke to officials from the CMO and GHMC on Wednesday, enquiring about the child’s current health condition. He instructed GHMC authorities to conduct continuous reviews of the child’s progress and to personally meet the family, assess their needs, and extend full government support. Revanth Reddy conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of the child.

Meanwhile, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan held a review meeting along with additional commissioner Raghu Prasad, chief medical officer Padmaja, and chief veterinary officer Wakeel regarding the health status of the injured child, Prem Chand.

The Commissioner informed that the Chief Minister has personally reviewed the child’s condition and directed that the best medical care be provided. He instructed officials to monitor the child’s treatment closely and ensure all necessary support.

He also stated that GHMC will intensify ongoing drives to prevent stray dogs in public spaces across Greater Hyderabad to avert such incidents in the future.
