Hyderabad, Sept.30 (NSS): BRS party leader R S Praveen Kumar today alleged that the real culprit in the issue of Musi river and Hydra demolitions was Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and added that the real victims of poor people of Telangana. He demanded that cases should be filed against the CM for using abusive language at every step against his political opponents after planning to loot public money in the name of Musi river beautification project. He said the task force police should visit CM’s house and not the houses of the poor.
Talking to media persons at Kanchanbagh police station, Praveen Kumar expressed his displeasure over the arrest of the BRS party activist Naresh at Kadthal in Kalwakurthy mandal for allegedly sharing videos of the victims of the Hydra incident expressing anger against CM Revanth Reddy. He said the police were sent to Kadthal overnight and Naresh was arrested and brought to Kanchanbagh police station. He alleged that four phones belonging to Naresh and his friends were illegally seized by the police. He alleged that although Naresh should be released by the police on bail under Section 35(3) of the BNS Act, he alleged that he was yet to be released.
RS Praveen Kumar said Naresh was not the only one, but many poor people across Telangana had been booked overnight by the police. He asked the Congress government as to how many more people would be harassed?
