CM Revanth cheated farmers: Telangana BJP chief Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, : 22nd May 2024 : Telangana BJP chief Kishan Reddy has accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of deceiving farmers and making unfulfilled promises. In a series of public statements and an open letter, Kishan Reddy criticized the CM for failing to deliver on financial assistance pledges to farmers, such as a Rs 500 bonus on Minimum Support Price (MSP) and Rs 15,000 per acre financial aid.

Kishan Reddy also challenged CM Revanth Reddy to a public debate on the developmental contributions of the Congress-led UPA government versus the BJP-led NDA government. He highlighted that the NDA had allocated significantly more funds to Telangana compared to the UPA period. These allegations are part of a broader political conflict between the BJP and Congress in Telangana, with both sides accusing each other of misleading the public and failing to fulfill promises.
