Hyderabad, Oct.20 (NSS): BRS party working president K T Rama Rao today said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was deceiving people by uttering false words on the development of the fourth city in Hyderabad.
Speaking after attending the Dasara Sammelan Alai Balai program organised by former Ibrahimpatnam MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy with BRS party cadres, he said CM Revanth Reddy, who had been claiming that the Pharma city had been abolished outside, was stating before the court that there was a pharma city in Telangana. “It should be understood from what they have told the court that this government is a corrupt government. As per the law, the land acquired for the Pharma city cannot be used for any other purpose. Because of this reason, CM Revanth Reddy was misleading the court also. Not even four inches of land has been acquired for the fourth city. If the pharma city is cancelled, how will Revanth Reddy build the fourth city,” KTR asked.
He made it clear that if they don’t get justice in the High Court in the case of pharma city, they would go to the Supreme Court and explain to the people about Revanth Reddy’s frauds by touring every gully of the State. He said former CM KCR worked hard to build a green pharma city without pollution and added that for eight years, they worked hard to convince the farmers and acquired 14,000 acres of land. He alleged that State ministers Komatireddy, Seethakka and CM Revanth Reddy then spread false propaganda that the farmers’ lands were being grabbed in the name of the pharma city and promised to return the acquired lands to the farmers after coming into power.
He alleged that the fourth city was brought to the fore for CM Revanth Reddy and his four brothers and their real estate business. Stating that the real estate business collapsed in the State after the Congress came to power, he demanded that the CM either build the pharma city or return the acquired lands to the farmers. He warned that the BRS party would not keep silent if the CM failed to fulfill his promise of returning the lands to the farmers.
