Hyderabad, Oct.25 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed the officials to prepare a sports policy by the end of November.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with officials on the sports policy at his residence here on Friday and suggested the officials to formulate the best sports policy for Telangana State.
“If necessary, the officials should study the sports policies of different countries of the world,” Revanth Reddy said.
He suggested that the State governing board should be finalised in next ten days and officials should prepare the Sports University Bill as soon as possible.
“Steps should be taken to have a sports calendar for national and international competitions,” Revanth Reddy advised.
Government advisors K. Kesava Rao and Jithender Reddy, Sports Authority of Telangana ( SAT) Chairman Shivsena Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other top officials were present.
