CM Revanth launches ‘ Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam” scheme

Hyderabad, July 20 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy launched ‘ Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam’ scheme at Praja Bhavan here on Saturday.

 The scheme provides financial assistance to the Civil Services aspirants from Telangana, under which the candidates who qualify for the Mains exams will be provided with ₹1 lakh for preparation. The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) is providing the financial assistance to the  scheme as a part of its corporate social responsibility under the ‘Nirmaan’ programme.

 Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said th job calendar would be announced in the ensuing budget session of the Assembly and the government would compile the data of vacancies in every department before March every year.

“The notification will be issued  by June 2 and the recruitment process will be completed by December 9,” he disclosed.

 The Chief Minister said the Telangana movement was the result of fulfilling the aspirations of youth for jobs and it had attained statehood on the pillars of sacrifices.

 Stating that the State government accorded top priority addressing the problems of the unemployed, Revanth Reddy said that his government was taking all steps to conduct the examinations efficiently in a well-planned plan.

 “The Unemployed youth struggled a lot in the last 10 years.The Telangana State Public Service Commission ( TGPSC) was reformed on the lines of UPSC. The appointment orders filling 30,000 posts  were already given within 3 months after coming to power. The TGPSC already conducted Group 1 prelims and DSC exams are in progress. Moreover, the State government, considering the difficulties being faced by the unemployed youth, has postponed Group 2 exam,” he added.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Jupalli Krishna Rao, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy and Seethakka, CM’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, MLAs, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other officials were also present in the programme.
