Sangareddy, Oct.3 (NSS): Former Minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao today lashed out at Congress Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “Revanth Reddy, are you the Chief Minister or a real estate broker,” Harish Rao asked.
He participated in the farmers’ agitation against the establishment of a Pharma city at Nyalkal under Zaheerabad constituency. Harish Rao criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s rule by saying that it had turned into a stone in the hands of a coward. “The stone fell on the farmers of Zaheerabad today. For the Pharma city, KCR has brought all clearances to 15,000 acres near Hyderabad, pollution-free and with zero wastage. All kinds of clearances, including environment and forest, have come. But CM Revanth Reddy is trying to cancel the pharma city and make it a real estate project. CM Revanth Reddy! You’re a real estate broker and not the Chief Minister of the State,” he alleged.
Harish Rao alleged that Revanth Reddy was planning to set up a pharma city in 34,000 acres of land and use the remaining land for his real estate business. He alleged that the CM was demolishing the houses of the poor in the name of Musi Beautification project and wondered whether Revanth’s rule was an Indiramma’s rule? “ While Indira Gandhi gave Garibi Hatao slogan , Revanth Reddy has given Kisan Hatao and Gariboko Hatao slogans. Rao claimed that the local People had not been eating food for two months due to the decision of the state government to establish the Pharma city.
