
(RAHNUMA) Hyderabad: A refined diplomatic gathering titled Coffee Morning with the United Kingdom was held on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at The Park Hyderabad, Somajiguda, bringing together diplomats, UK delegates, industry leaders, and prominent cultural figures for a morning of dialogue and exchange.
Organised by CD Foundation in collaboration with the British Deputy High Commission, Hyderabad, under the aegis of Deputy High Commissioner Gareth Wynn Owen, the event featured an elegant British High Tea curated by UK-based chef Alla Smith from Yorkshire. The gathering was organised by Charu Das, Founder and Director of CD Foundation.
Distinguished guests included Imam ul-Mulk IV Nawab Syed Ahmed Khan, Head of the Rahnuma-E-Deccan Family, and Nawab Mir Najaf Ali Khan, grandson of His Exalted Highness Mir Osman Ali Khan, Nizam of Hyderabad, who attended as the chief guest. Also present were members of the Qajar Royal Family of Iran (Hyderabad), Saba Rabab Ajani, Nawab Maher Ali Khan of the Balaghat Royal Family, Ali Abbas of Way2News, Dr. Shaima of Integro Hospital, and Nawab Akram Abbas Khan along with others attended.
The event underscored Hyderabad’s continuing role as a bridge between diplomacy, heritage, and contemporary cultural engagement.
