Hyderabad, Dec.16 (RAHNUMA): Minister for IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has directed officials to complete infrastructure facilities on a war footing at the Bugga Padu Industrial Park located in Sathupalli, Khammam district.
Along with Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, he conducted a high-level review meeting with TGIIC officials on Tuesday. Special Chief Secretary of the IT & Industries Department, Sanjay Kumar, also participated in the meeting.
TGIIC has developed a mega food park, Telangana Food Processing Zone, and an MSME Zone across 200 acres at Bugga Padu. As investors are coming forward to establish industries in the area, Sridhar Babu emphasised the need to complete all arrangements at the earliest.
He instructed officials to ensure that construction of industrial units in the Food Processing Park begins by January. Sridhar Babu also asked that allottees who have received land in the 60-acre Mega Food Park be encouraged to commence construction of their units.
The Telangana food processing zone is being developed over 80 acres, while the MSME zone spans 60 acres. Investors are showing keen interest in setting up new agriculture- and aquaculture-based industries in the Food Processing Zone.
TGIIC Managing Director Shashank, Industries Department Commissioner Nikhil Chakravarthi, Director (Investments) Madhusudan, and other officials were present at the meeting.
