Vemulawada, Feb.6 (RAHNUMA): BRS party Working President KTR on Friday alleged that neither the Congress party nor the BJP has done anything for Telangana. KTR participated in a municipal election campaign program held in Vemulawada town in the Vemulawada assembly constituency of Rajanna Sircilla district.
Speaking on the occasion, he strongly criticized the injustices being done to Telangana by the Congress state government and the BJP central government. He alleged that the Congress party came to power with false promises and was now deceiving the people after assuming office.
KTR spoke about Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas, who had given a written promise on bond paper during the elections by stating that he would implement all six guarantees within 100 days. KTR showed the bond paper given by Adi Srinivas to the public and spoke about it. He said that Adi Srinivas had misled the people with sympathetic dialogues by claiming that he would die if he didn’t get elected this time after losing four times. “Afterward, he disappeared without a trace, neglecting both the implementation of promises and development,” he alleged . KTR questioned as to what Adi Srinivas, who is only interested in securing a ministerial position and is clinging to CM Revanth Reddy, had done for the Vemulawada constituency?
KTR also questioned the Congress government whether it had implemented even one of the six guarantees it promised. He warned that if people vote for the Congress party in these municipal elections despite all these deceptions and betrayals, Revanth Reddy and the Congress government would believe that what they are doing was right and that the people were giving a favorable verdict to the Congress party . He cautioned that in such a scenario, there would be no chance of them focusing on implementing the promises in the future. He said that to ensure that the promises made by the Congress government are implemented , people must vote against the Congress party in these elections. “Only then will the Congress realize that the people are angry and outraged by their deceptions,” he said.
On the other hand, he stated that Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, who has represented this parliamentary constituency twice, had done nothing and added that the BJP government at the center had not provided any benefits to Telangana. KTR alleged that PM Modi, who promised to give Rs. 15 lakhs to every household, later abandoned all his promises. KTR criticized that every time elections come around, the the BJP uses the name of God, caste and religion to garner votes from the people. He urged the people not to be deceived by the BJP’s false promises this time either and to remember, who filled the stomachs of the poor, and to vote for the BRS party.
He said that only if the Congress party is given a resounding defeat in these municipal elections, would the Congress government focus on implementing at least some of the six guarantees. KTR stated that the vote cast in these municipal elections should mark the beginning of the journey to make KCR the Chief Minister once again. Along with KTR, the candidates contesting in the municipality and the constituency in-charge Chalmeda Lakshminarasimha Rao were present at this campaign event in Vemulawada.
