Congress condemns KCR’s absence amid Telangana crisis

Hyderabad, Sept.13 (NSS): Congress  MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy criticised the leadership of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), comparing their behavior to “demons quoting scriptures.”

He questioned the absence of former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao during the devastation caused by floods in Khammam, Suryapet and Mahabubabad districts, asking whether he was in his farmhouse, Hyderabad, or even in the State at all. He remarked that no one knows if KCR is healthy or not.

Speaking at a press conference at the media hall on the premises of Assembly here on Friday, Srinivas Reddy along with another MLA Vamshi Krishna also expressed surprise at BRS working president KT Rama Rao who left for America as soon as his sister Kavitha received bail despite the hardships being faced by the people with floods.

He criticised the Kalvakuntla family, stating that they abandon the people of Telangana in times of crisis and have caused immense harm with their “petty politics” during the Telangana movement.

Srinivas Reddy also targeted BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy, claiming he has degraded himself and now behaves erratically.

Accusing Kaushik of demeaning women by waving sarees and bangles, he demanded that the BRS party suspend him for undermining the dignity of women.

Furthermore, Srinivas Reddy accused former minister  Harish Rao of orchestrating political drama with Kaushik Reddy and warned that Kaushik would be a “one-time wonder,” unlikely to win any future elections.
