Congress downfall has begun with results of panchayat polls: KTR

Hyderabad, Dec.12 (RAHNUMA): BRS working president KT Rama Rao has congratulated his party’s candidates who won as sarpanches and ward members in the first phase of Telangana’s gram panchayat elections.

In a statement on Friday, the BRS leader called the results a strong sign that people reject the ruling Congress party and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s poor leadership. He highlighted violence and murders by Congress during the elections but praised BRS workers for their brave fight and wins despite the threats.Congress won less than 44% of seats even where Chief Minister Revanth Reddy campaigned openly, showing public anger.

KTR said the rural voters are upset with Revanth Reddy’s failures after two years, proving BRS is the only real choice in Telangana, not BJP. He alleged that the State government broke promises on pensions, Mahalakshmi scheme, one-tola gold, urea for farmers, crop bonuses, and crop buying.

The BRS working president said the sanitation and rural roads, built up under BRS’s 10-year rule, have fallen apart.People remember the lies about “six guarantees,” and these election results are just the start of Congress’s big loss, he pointed out. KT Rama Rao predicted Congress’s total fall soon, with BRS’s pink flag winning everywhere from Adilabad to Alampur in upcoming polls.
