Hyderabad, Dec.6 (NSS): BRS party working president KTR today alleged that the Congress government in Telangana did not officially organize the death anniversary of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, who is the architect of the Indian Constitution. He said the ruling party’s failure to formally celebrate the death anniversary of Ambedkar and expressed his displeasure over the Congress government’s move to not pay homage at Ambedkar statue. KTR attacked the State government on the issue on his X platform.
Tagging Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to his tweet, he asked whether he suggested the State government to insult Ambedkar” Rahul Gandhi ji! Have you suggested to your Congress government to insult Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar? If you watch this film, you will see the difference between the BRS government and your Congress government,” he said while enclosing a photo of Ambedkar’s statue located in front of the State secretariat. KTR said a 125-feet statue of Ambedkar was installed during former CM KCR’s rule and his birth and death anniversary celebrations were held in a grand manner. “But in your Congress government, you have not paid any tributes to Ambedkar. This incident is a testimony to how your government is neglecting Ambedkar,” KTR said.
