Hyderabad, Feb.2 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information and Public Relations Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the Congress government has effectively manifested the transformation sought by the people of Telangana, thereby affirming their trust and reinforcing public faith and confidence within a two-year timeframe.
The Minister inaugurated the upgraded website for the Information and Public Relations department in his office at the Secretariat on Monday.
During his address, he noted that upon assuming power, the government encountered a significant crisis across various sectors, particularly in the economic domain. However, under the guidance of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government is methodically addressing these challenges while actively promoting development and welfare.
“We have now completed two years of governance and commenced our third year. Although this period may seem brief, the government’s accomplishments are indeed remarkable,” he remarked.
The Minister emphasised that every decision made by the people’s government is contributing to a tangible transformation in the lives of the people.
He stated that the various reforms implemented across sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, housing, fine rice distribution, ration cards, and employment generation are positioning Telangana as a model for the nation.
“Following the establishment of the Indiramma government in the state, we began executing six guarantees. Despite not making certain pledges during the electoral campaign, we have rolled out numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing the welfare of the people. We are witnessing substantial advancements in both the agricultural and industrial sectors, with Telangana emerging as a leader in economic progress. Under Revanth Reddy’s leadership, the government is advancing with the Telangana Rising – 2047 vision to elevate Telangana’s status within India and on the global stage,” Ponguleti said.
