Hyderabad, April 4 (RAHNUMA): Political tension has gripped the Gajwel constituency, represented by former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao. Congress activists created a commotion at the Gajwel MLA’s camp office (KCR Camp Office) on Saturday.
Led by DCC President Tumukunta Aknsha Reddy, Congress workers stormed into the camp office carrying a photograph of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and installed it there. Subsequently, they raised slogans of “Jai Congress” from inside the office.
In the course of these events, some individuals carried out an attack on the camp office and damaged the furniture and window panes of the MLA Camp office.
However, the BRS alleged that it was Congress activists who resorted to violence and were responsible for this attack. Congress leaders, on the other hand, maintain that they merely placed a photograph of the Chief Minister at the camp office and did not engage in any assault.
This turn of events has suddenly created a tense atmosphere in Gajwel. Consequently, a heavy police force has been deployed to the vicinity of the MLA’s camp office. A tense situation currently prevails in the area.
