CPI leader Narayana welcomes N-Convention demolition by Govt.

Hyderabad, Aug.25 (NSS)CPI national secretary Dr K. Narayana today said he was welcoming  the decision of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on the issue of the demolition of illegal constructions in the State capital by Hydra. On Sunday, he inspected the area where the N Convention Centre was demolished in Madhapur by the authorities of the State government.

Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Narayana said, “The authorities will crack their whip if a poor person illegally occupies any public property: Nagarjuna is the boss of Bigg Boss show. The pond was occupied illegally by him.

He is not a Satya Harishchandra. He is earning lakhs every day through his N- Convention centre. There’s a lot of money. Film dialogues do not work. It is not possible to sit alone and beat up a hundred people. You have to figure out how much Nagarjuna earned per day,” he said.

He also alleged that BRS party leaders like Malla Reddy and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy built their colleges in FTL and buffer zones of various ponds and tanks. He said if the ponds and nallahs are encroached upon, the villages would be submerged. “It’s just the beginning. Wherever there is encroachment, it should be removed by the authorities. The government should take over the assets of the powerful people if they built any illegal structures. There is no need for political vendetta. It is not good to take revenge on the same party and the same community. Hydra demolitions should be carried out against anyone who resorts to illegal encroachments. These demolitions should continue like this. The authorities should also remove the illegal encroachments of MIM party leaders in the Old city of Hyderabad,” he said and demanded that action should be taken against those who gave permission for the illegal constructions. “We have been fighting on land issues from the very beginning,” Narayana said.
