Hyderabad, Dec.27 (RAHNUMA):The 359th ‘Prakash Utsav’ of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Tenth Sikh Guru and founder of the Khalsa Panth, was celebrated with devotion and gaiety by Sikh devotees and people of other faiths at various Gurudwaras across Telangana on Saturday.
The main event was a ‘Vishaal Deewan’ organised by the Prabhandak Committee, Central Gurudwara Saheb Gowliguda, where devotees offered prayers to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Renowned Ragi Jathas from across the country rendered Gurbani Kirtans and Kathas, highlighting the Guru’s message of courage, sacrifice, human rights, and communal harmony.
Speakers urged the devotees to follow Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s teachings of righteousness, equality and compassion, which remain relevant till date. The celebrations concluded with Guru Ka Langar, reinforcing the spirit of equality and brotherhood.
