Hyderabad, Nov.11 (NSS): Telangana Employees’ JAC chairman V. Lacchi Reddy today said he was strongly condemning the attack on the government officials who came as part of the land acquisition process of the pharma company in Lagacharla village of Dudyala mandal of Vikarabad district, including the district Collector and additional Collector.
Lacchi Reddy demanded that legal action should be taken against those who instigated the attack on the officers and those who committed the attack. He said the matter would be brought to the notice of the DGP and action would be taken against those responsible for the attack. He said appropriate measures would be taken to prevent such attacks from happening in the future.
He expressed anger that the vehicles of the officials were also destroyed. “This is a heinous act. Everyone wants to condemn this,” he said. He expressed concern that the employees were suffering from extreme fear due to such attacks. He urged the State government to respond immediately and punish the culprits severely. In the wake of this incident, IG Satyanarayana reached the Vikarabad district SP office and took stock of the situation.
