Hyderabad, July 25 (NSS): The Secretary, Energy, Government of Telangana & CMD/TGTRANSCO &CMD/TGGENCO D. Ronald Rose, IAS, along with CMD/TGSPDCL MD Musharraf Faruqui, IAS, made a surprise inspection of District Stores, Sangareddy of TGSPDCL today and directed concerned Superintending Engineer & all staff to maintain sufficient material stocks for timely execution of all Construction and Operation & Maintenance works.
The Energy Secretary critically reviewed the stock position of major material in Sangareddy District Stores and issued directions to Director/Operations/TGSPDCL to plan well in advance and to ensure sufficient rolling stock of equipment such as Distribution Transformers, Energy Meters, Poles & Conductor and so on to combat any emergencies.
Keeping in view of the ongoing Khariff season and to provide quality & reliable supply to farming community, Energy Secretary instructed to replace the failed Distribution Transformers within 24 hours in cities & towns within 48 hours in rural areas. During the inspection, Secretary-Energy re-iterated that all field engineers shall stay at their headquarters and continue to strive hard to take all required measures to maintain quality and reliable power supply throughout the State.
