Hyderabad, June 23 (NSS): There seems to be a strong contest between BJP leaders Raja Singh and Etela Rajender for the post of BJP State president. They are verbally attacking each other to win the post of the State party president. In a fresh development, BJP MP Etela Rajender has given a strong counter to the recent comments made by Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh.
Raja Singh had recently stated that the post of the State party president should be allotted to a person, who is aggressive. Etela Rajender has reacted to these comments. He asked the party high command whether it wanted a street fighter or a real fighter as the party president. “What kind of fighter do you need? Street fighter.. or A real fighter,”!He asked. He also said he had fought with five chief ministers in his political career and after that the party needed a daring leader, who could go to any extent for its victory. He made it clear that he was not fighting in the streets of the State.
Raja Singh had recently released a video explaining what kind of person should be chosen as the State party president. In the video, Raja Singh said seniors should be given the post of the president. “A person who is aware of the country and religion should be given the post of the president,” he said.
Etela had earlier said a decision should be taken only after taking the opinion of eight MLAs and eight MPs in the State by the party high command on the issue. He said the party was not just about winning MPs and MLAs and added that the party would be able to win only if the new leaders and new workers work hard for its victory. (NSS)
