Hyderabad, March 30 (RAHNUMA): In an initiative to support aspiring designers preparing for competitive design entrance examinations, the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Hyderabad, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, will organize a Free Situation Test Workshop on April 12, 2026, at its Hyderabad campus.
The workshop is designed to help students understand the practical aspects of the Situation Test, a crucial stage in many design entrance examinations. Participants will receive hands-on guidance on creative model making, material handling, concept development, and effective presentation techniques, enabling them to confidently approach real examination scenarios.
The session will be conducted by Dr. FathimaBilgrami, Senior Design Educator, who will share valuable insights on solving situation-based design problems, managing time during the test, and presenting innovative ideas effectively.
According to institute officials, the workshop aims to bridge the gap between theoretical preparation and practical application, giving students the opportunity to experience how design challenges are evaluated in entrance examinations.
FDDI Hyderabad invites design aspirants, creative students, and those interested in pursuing careers in design, footwear, fashion, and retail to participate in the workshop and enhance their preparation.
