Formation Day of Nagaland State celebrated in Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, Dec.1 (NSS)As part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma hosted special celebrations in the iconic Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, to mark the Formation Day of Nagaland State today. Nagaland, the 16th State of the Indian Union, was officially formed on December 1, 1963.

On the momentous occasion, the Governor extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the people of Nagaland. He paid glowing tributes to the visionary leaders and citizens who played pivotal roles in the creation of the State.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor highlighted the importance of celebrating the formation days of various States, emphasizing that such events foster mutual understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and heritage. The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances, including traditional songs and dances by talented artists representing Nagaland. The program was graced by the enthusiastic participation of Nagaland residents settled in Hyderabad, alongside officers and staff of Raj Bhavan.

The event underscored the spirit of national unity and cultural harmony championed by the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative.
