
Vijayawada, Sept.18 (NSS): Former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy has resigned from opposition YSRCP. He announced his resignation due to some reasons. In his resignation letter, he mentioned key issues. Stating that Politics is different, relationships are different, He said that he opposed former CM Jagan’s wrong decisions.
He said that In politics, language should be respectful and dignified and added that It was the responsibility of the political leaders to protect the values in politics. Balineni said that he had helped anyone who came to him beyond politics while noting that he is a five-time MLA, who believes in values. He mentioned in the letter that he had served as a minister twice and added that , due to some reasons, he was leaving the YSRCP due to some reasons.
Balineni has been very unhappy with the YSRCP high command for some time now. When he was removed from the post of minister, he was disappointed. He always had differences with YSRCP leader YV Subba Reddy. Balineni also expressed his displeasure over the MP ticket and over the post of district president. Balineni was removed from the post of the district president and it was handed over to a party leader Jenke Venkat reddy. With these actions, Balineni lost hold in the party.
He also expressed some dissatisfaction on the allotment of tickets during the assembly elections. Balineni insisted on giving YSRCP MP ticket to Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy. But another party leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was given the party ticket. These developments caused a lot of dissatisfaction in Balineni. After the election results, it became even more severe .
In this context, the party high command held talks with Balineni. He recently met YS Jagan. He told Jagan that there was no situation for him to continue in the party. Later, Balineni met 20 corporators from Ongole and some of his close friends at his residence in Hyderabad and decided to leave the party.
