
Hyderabad, Sept.6 (NSS): Minister for Health Damodar Raja Narasimha along with Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new hostel building at a cost of Rs 121 crore on the premises of Osmania Medical College, Koti, here on Friday.
Later, the appointment letters were handed over to the candidates selected for 282 Lab Technician posts in the health department.
Speaking on the occasion, Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha stated that the government hospitals should be developed on par with private hospitals and doctors should work with a service oriented while discharging duties.
He further advised the staff working in hospitals to work patiently and lovingly and patients should be respected during the treatment.
” The State government has already decided to construct a new building of Osmania Hospital in 32 acres with state-of-the-art facilities. Its foundation stone will be laid in next two months. What the previous government could not do ten years ago, we are doing it now,” Raja Narasimha said.
He further stated that in the next year, another 1,300 posts will be recruited in the health department.
