Hyderabad, Jan26 (RAHNUMA): The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour at its headquarters, Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad.
R. Ravikumar, President, FTCCI, unfurled the National Flag in the presence of K. K. Maheshwari, Senior Vice President; Veena, Secretary; Suresh Singhal, Immediate Past President; past presidents, committee chairpersons, members, and staff.
Addressing the gathering, Ravikumar said Republic Day marks the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950, and reaffirms the nation’s commitment to democratic values, rule of law, equality, and justice.
He emphasised that economic growth must go hand in hand with social responsibility, ethical governance, and innovation. Calling upon industry leaders to contribute actively to nation-building, he said, “Bharat is a mahan desh. We must work collectively to make India a Viksit Bharat and restore its position as a ‘Vishwaguru’.”
K. K. Maheshwari highlighted the importance of the younger generation understanding the sacrifices of India’s forefathers and stressed that national progress is a shared responsibility.
Several industry veterans, committee members, and FTCCI staff participated in the celebrations.
