
Hyderabad, Jan.23 (RAHNUMA):GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, has announced with pride that its distinguished alumna Shivali Johri Srivastava (School of Technology, Batch 2016–2020) has added two more Guinness World Records, taking her total to an extraordinary 23 records, the highest by any individual in India.
Shivali, along with her parents Kavita Johri Srivastava and Anil Srivastava, achieved the latest records for the World’s largest origami displays, featuring 4,700 rabbits and 3,500 turtles.
Her record-breaking journey includes creations such as 1,251 handmade paper dolls, 7,011 quilled flowers, 6,132 origami citrus fruits, 6,500 origami bats, and 6,001 origami whales, along with thousands of other origami designs.
In addition to her Guinness achievements, Shivali has earned 15 Assist World Records and 15 Unique World Records, showcasing her exceptional creativity and dedication to paper art.
GITAM leadership, including Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. D. S. Rao, Resident Director D. V. V. S. R. Varma, director – hospitality Ambika Philip, assessing authority at GITAM Dr. D. Mallikarjuna Reddy, faculty and students, congratulated Shivali for bringing global recognition to the university.
