Hyderabad, Sept.22 (NSS): GITAM Deemed to be University president and Visakhapatnam MP Sribharat Mathukumilli has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to support flood relief efforts in Telangana. On Sunday, Sribharat personally handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills. The amount was pooled from GITAM employees’ one-day salary.
Key GITAM officials accompanied Sribharat at the ceremony, including Meena B.R. IAS (Retd.) Chief Administrative Officer, Prof. D.S. Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM Hyderabad, Syed Akbaruddin, Dean of Kautilya School of Public Policy, and DVVSR Varma, Resident Director. A few days earlier, Sribharat also donated Rs 1 crore to the CMRF for flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh.
