
Hyderabad, July 20 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Gopanpally flyover in the city on Saturday.
The flyover, constructed at a cost of Rs. 28.5 crore by the R&B department, has two exit ramps. While one facilitates one-way traffic flow from Gowlidoddi towards Nallagandla covering 430 metres and the other from Gowlioddi towards Tellapur covering 550 metres.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the State government is committed to promote Hyderabad as a cosmopolitan city and appealed to the people to extend their cooperation for developing the State capital as an international city in the next ten years.
He stated that the State government has envisaged plans to develop Musi river a beautiful tourist destination on the lines of Thames river in London and the works at the cost of Rs 1.50 lakh crore for the specific project will start soon, aimed at attracting tourists from around the world in the next five years.
“The Musi Riverfront Development project will de taken up in such a way that people will remember the People’s government forever,” Revanth Reddy said.
The Chief Minister further promised that the State government would take the responsibility of the rapid development of Serilingampally in the days to come.
Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and other elected representatives were present.
