Govt sanctions ₹20 crore for NAC skill development centre in Manthani

Hyderabad, July 17 (RAHNUMA): The Telangana government has approved the establishment of a National Academy of Construction (NAC) Skill Development Centre in Manthani, Peddapalli district, and sanctioned ₹20 crore for the construction of the centre’s building.

The administrative orders were issued on Friday by Vikas Raj, Special Chief Secretary, Transport, Roads & Buildings (TR&B) department.

The NAC Skill Development Centre is expected to play a significant role in creating a highly skilled workforce to meet the evolving demands of the construction industry. The centre will provide skill training of international standards, equipping youth with the latest technologies and modern construction practices.

The centre will offer both short-term and long-term training programmes, enabling trainees to pursue self-employment opportunities as well as secure placements in leading national and international companies.

Expressing his happiness over the establishment of the prestigious NAC Skill Development Centre in Manthani, Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Minister for Roads & Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for approving the project.

The Minister said the centre would serve as a hub for quality skill development for the youth of North Telangana, enhancing their employability and opening up opportunities in the construction sector across India and abroad.
