Govt taking steps to provide quality education to poor children : CM Revanth

Hyderabad, Oct.9 (NSS): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the State government is taking steps to provide better infrastructure in all government schools across the Telangana State, aimed at giving the quality education to the poor children.

The Chief Minister participated in handling over of appointment letters to newly recruited teachers through DSC-2024, at LB Stadium here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the State government is making a system so that everyone can proudly say that we are studying in government schools.

“The State government is setting up Young India Residential Schools with Rs.125 crores in 25 acres in each constituency and these works are going to be started from October 11,” Revanth Reddy said.

“Every year, about 10 lakh students are coming out after completing engineering in Telangana. But, they are not getting jobs after the completion of courses. That is why we are taking steps to provide training and employment through Young India Skills University,” the Chief Minister said.

Stating that the State government has upgraded the ITIs and undertaken a programme to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth, the Chief Minister said the State government is taking measures to provide training and jobs to the unemployed according to industrial requirements.

Revanth Reddy said the teachers are the future makers of Telangana and urged them to do their best job for the reconstruction of Telangana.
